Air traffic in Africa has experienced a significant growth over the past decade. Within this, Nigeria has been one of the leading nations; joining South Africa, Egypt and Morocco in accounting for over half of all passenger traffic on the continent.
In August 2021, Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Aviation marked this growth with a Request for Qualification for the Nigeria Airports Concession Programme – for the long-anticipated concession of the airports in Abuja, Lagos, Kano, and Port Harcourt.
