Project Privatization of Skopje International Airport and Ohrid International Airport Client Ministry of Transport, Government of Macedonia Period 2007 – 2008 Services Airport consultancy, airport planning and development, assistance with structuring a concession transaction Team NACO - InterVISTAS Investment n.a. The Government of the Republic of Macedonia sought to improve the technical and financial position of the national airport system, comprising of Skopje "Alexander the Great" Airport and Ohrid "St. Paul the Apostle" Airport. To accomplish this expansion, rehabilitation and modernization project, the Government of the Republic of Macedonia appointed NACO-InterVISTAS to perform an Airport Development Study.
NACO-InterVISTAS was responsible for (i) traffic forecasts, (ii) review of the airport's financial performance, recognizing measures for improvement and (iii) for the analysis of the financial feasibility of the project. Recommendations on how to structure the concession model are also made.
InterVISTAS also served as the Advisor during the Transaction Implementation process, with a concession agreement signed with an international operator in September 2008.Services: Preparation of traffic forecast; financial analysis, including review of current financial performance and viability of investments; development of concession model and transaction services; facilitation and organization of tender process
